Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible gastroenterologist to join a dedicated IBD-focused practice in New Orleans. The role emphasizes no general GI duties and a supportive clinic team.

You will work with 2 other IBD specialists within a 16-physician group, with dedicated nurses, MAs, dietitian, and clinical pharmacist, and shared call. This opportunity includes interview coordination and license support from recruiters.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible gastroenterologist; IBD fellowship training preferred.
• IBD-focused practice with no general GI responsibilities.
• Willingness to join a collegial group of GI specialists and collaborate with support staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide IBD-focused gastroenterology care within a dedicated clinic team.
• Collaborate with colorectal surgery, GI pathology, and GI radiology.
• Participate in optional clinical research and teaching opportunities.
