Job summary

BayCare Medical Group in Tampa, FL seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to help launch an innovative Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Specialty Clinic within a premier GI practice. You will work alongside GI physicians and a multidisciplinary team with autonomy in patient care to develop a new service line.

Requirements include a Master's degree (APRN or PA), Florida state licensure, national certification, and at least 2 years of GI experience with IBD.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current Florida APRN or PA licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
• National certification as an APRN or PA.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Gastroenterology, with specific experience managing patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
• Strong knowledge of current IBD treatment protocols, biologic therapies, and disease monitoring.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GI physicians and multidisciplinary team members while maintaining a high level of autonomy in patient care.
• Perform and oversee advanced practice duties within a GI setting.
• Call responsibilities include 4 days each month and 1 weekend a month.
