Job summary

The Metropolitan School of Panama, part of Nord Anglia Education, seeks an MYP English Teacher to cover maternity leave at our Green Valley, PA location. The role requires delivering high-quality instruction aligned with IB/MYP standards and Nord Anglia Teaching Standards.

You will plan, deliver engaging lessons, use UDL to ensure accessibility, assess student progress, and collaborate across the department to maintain curriculum coherence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or Education; Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid teaching qualification or certification.
• Experience teaching at secondary level.
• Experience in international or IB context is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured MYP English lessons.
• Apply UDL to remove barriers and differentiate learning.
• Design and use formative and summative assessments.
• Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum alignment.
• Support student wellbeing and safe learning environment.
