Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Senior Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise identity security solutions in a regulated environment. This role partners across cybersecurity, infrastructure, HR, compliance, and audits to deliver scalable identity controls.

You will design governance frameworks, implement RBAC and SoD, and build SailPoint ISC integrations across cloud and on‑premises environments. Remote or hybrid work arrangements may apply.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IAM, IGA, or enterprise security architecture.
• 4+ years experience with SailPoint ISC or IIQ.
• 2+ years experience supporting cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience implementing enterprise Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) platforms.
• Experience developing integration patterns using SCIM, REST APIs, LDAP, Active Directory, HR systems, and cloud applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise Identity Governance & Administration solutions supporting workforce, contractor, and third‑party identities.
• Design and develop identity lifecycle management processes including joiner, mover, leaver, provisioning, deprovisioning, and access request workflows.
• Develop governance frameworks for role‑based access control (RBAC), access certifications, segregation of duties (SoD), and policy enforcement.
• Build, configure, test, and deploy SailPoint ISC integrations using REST APIs, SCIM, JDBC, LDAP, Active Directory, and custom connector frameworks.
• Perform hands‑on engineering of application onboarding solutions, including account aggregation, entitlement management, access profiles, roles, and provisioning policies.
• Design and implement automated provisioning and deprovisioning solutions across SaaS, on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud‑based applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex identity synchronization, correlation, aggregation, certification, and provisioning issues.
• Partner with business, compliance, audit, and technology teams to translate business requirements into identity security controls and governance models.

About the Role

McKesson is seeking an experienced Senior Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise identity security solutions in a complex, highly regulated environment. This role is responsible for implementing and enhancing identity governance capabilities that improve security, strengthen compliance, and automate access management processes.

As a senior technical contributor, you will partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, application, HR, compliance, audit, and business teams to deliver scalable identity solutions that enforce governance controls, and streamline identity lifecycle management across cloud and on-premises environments.

What You'll Do

Basic Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, identity and access management (IAM), identity governance (IGA), or enterprise security architecture.
• 4+ years experience with SailPoint ISC or IIQ.
• 2+ years experience supporting cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience implementing enterprise Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) platforms.
• Experience developing integration patterns using SCIM, REST APIs, LDAP, Active Directory, HR systems, and cloud applications.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Knowledge of identity security automation and workflow orchestration.
• Experience establishing identity governance operating models and architecture standards.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, security architecture governance, and cloud‑native security controls.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, SailPoint, or related credentials.
• Experience operating within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience mentoring junior developers
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and regulatory frameworks including SOX and HIPAA.

Travel, Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Minimal travel may be required based on business needs.
• Hybrid or remote work arrangements may be available in accordance with company policy.
• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and participate in virtual and in‑person meetings.
