Job summary

Camfil is seeking a senior IAM professional to own the global Identity & Access Management service, shaping strategy, governance and architecture. The role emphasizes collaboration across CIO, CISO, architects, HR and regional IT teams while guiding secure operations and modernisation.

You will work with Entra ID, AD, ADFS, MIM and PKI initiatives, balancing hands-on technical work with influential leadership across geographies.

Qualifications

• Substantial and recent IAM experience at senior specialist or architect level.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and on-premises Active Directory in a hybrid enterprise environment.
• Experience handling operational IAM outcomes, including complex incidents, escalations and technical decisions.
• Ability to take broad ownership of an IAM service or domain, drive improvements and lead work across internal teams, consultants and suppliers.
• Excellent professional English and the ability to communicate and collaborate across technical disciplines, functions and countries.
• Experience in areas such as MIM, ADFS or federation, PKI and certificates, scripting or identity-related APIs is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own the global IAM service across strategic, tactical and operational levels, including its roadmap, target architecture and governance.
• Ensure operational stability and act as the final internal escalation point for complex IAM incidents and service issues.
• Own identity and access lifecycle processes, authentication, permissions and relevant integrations.
• Drive the modernisation of the IAM environment, including its continued development towards more cloud-based solutions and the ongoing PKI, MIM and ADFS initiatives.
• Stay technically close enough to platforms, scripts, automations, APIs and data flows to assess impact and guide sound decisions.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders, consultants and suppliers while retaining clear accountability, documentation and continuity of knowledge.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As IT Service Owner for Identity & Access Management, you will be the central, dedicated owner of Camfil’s global IAM service. The role spans strategy, governance, architecture and day-to-day operational outcomes. It is neither a purely administrative governance position nor a narrowly defined engineering role.

You will work across Microsoft Entra ID, on-premises Active Directory, Azure permissions and roles, ADFS, Microsoft Identity Manager and identity-lifecycle integrations. A key part of the mandate is to maintain a secure and reliable service today while modernising the existing IAM environment, including the ongoing PKI transformation, replacement of MIM and reduced reliance on ADFS and other legacy dependencies.

You will collaborate globally with the CIO, CISO, architects, other Service Owners, HR, application teams, regional and local IT functions, service desks and external specialists. The role has no direct reports, so success depends on technical credibility, clear priorities and the ability to lead through influence. The position is based at Camfil’s headquarters in central Stockholm, with flexible hybrid working.

ABOUT YOU

You are a senior IAM professional who combines practical technical depth with the judgement and ownership needed to develop a global service. Self-directed, technically curious and pragmatic, you are comfortable making decisions independently while building alignment when broader input is required.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the global IAM service across strategic, tactical and operational levels, including its roadmap, target architecture and governance

You bring:

• Experience of taking responsibility for operational IAM outcomes, including complex incidents, escalations and technical decisions
• Ability to take broad ownership of an IAM service or domain, drive improvements and lead work across internal teams, consultants and suppliers; the formal Service Owner title is not required
• Excellent professional English and the ability to communicate and collaborate across technical disciplines, functions and countries
• Experience in areas such as MIM, ADFS or federation, PKI and certificates, scripting or identity-related APIs is advantageous; you are not expected to cover every area
