Job summary

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) seeks a Manager of Identity & Access Management (IAM) to lead a team of IAM engineers/analysts, directing identity platforms, authentication, SSO, MFA, and directory services. The role coordinates with Enterprise Applications/PeopleSoft and campus units to ensure secure, usable access across systems.

Responsibilities include budgeting input, road-map planning, metrics reporting, incident/change oversight, and compliance with FERPA/GLBA.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IAM teams and projects.
• Strong knowledge of identity platforms, SSO, MFA.
• Collaboration with enterprise apps and campus units.
• Ability to manage budgets and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for IAM platforms and services across university systems.
• Oversee account lifecycle, SSO, MFA, and directory services.
• Partner with HR, Registrar, and IT teams to ensure reliable identity services.
• Plan capacity, roadmaps, budgets, and governance for IAM initiatives.
