Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Identity & Access Management experience.
  • 4+ years with public cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS).
  • 3+ years of Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
  • 3+ years of Agile delivery experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; cloud certifications strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers in the design, engineering, and coordinated delivery of IAM-related components for new services, platform enhancements, cloud migrations, and SaaS environments.
  • Support the development and delivery of the product vision.
  • Create, maintain, and continuously prioritize the product backlog and user stories based on customer and business value.
  • Collaborate with engineering product owners, requestors, and release teams to identify, scope, plan, and execute work for the engineering and delivery pod.
  • Partner with technology, security risk management, and business stakeholders to manage IAM components of cloud projects.
  • Gather requirements, define solution options, and support validation and approval of key technical decisions and exceptions.
  • Develop, document, and implement standardized solutions and design patterns across application, platform, and infrastructure layers.
  • Coordinate with technology and security teams to establish integrated processes for implementing and tracking relevant controls.
  • Execute proofs of concept and feasibility studies for new cloud services and product concepts.
  • Prototype technical solutions for new requirements as needed.

Job description

Position Summary

Our client is seeking an IAM Manager (Product Owner) to lead Identity & Access Management initiatives across public cloud and SaaS environments. This role will drive IAM strategy, product ownership, and the delivery of secure, scalable identity solutions in partnership with engineering, security, and business teams.

The position requires experience managing enterprise identity platforms, designing access models across cloud environments, enabling cloud services and compute capabilities, and developing standardized patterns for secure cloud consumption. The ideal candidate has current experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Google Identity, AWS IAM, cloud-based pipeline development, and DevSecOps tooling.

Qualifications
Technical Skills
  • Deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, and related cloud services.
  • In-depth experience with cloud IAM technologies, including:
    • Role management
    • IAM policy management
    • OIDC federation
    • Managed identities
  • Experience with CI/CD frameworks and DevOps technologies used for orchestration, automated configuration, containers, and container orchestration.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as:
    • Terraform
    • Jenkins
    • GitHub workflows
    • Salt
    • Kubernetes
  • Working knowledge of modern authentication and authorization protocols, including:
    • SAML
    • OAuth
    • OIDC
  • Experience with identity synchronization and provisioning technologies such as Entra ID Connect and SCIM provisioning.
  • Working knowledge of secrets management platforms such as HashiCorp Vault and CyberArk.
  • Scripting and automation experience using native CLI tools, PowerShell, and/or Python.
  • Experience with Active Directory, multi-factor authentication services, secrets management, and federation services is beneficial.
Experience and Education
  • 8+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management.
  • 4+ years of experience with public cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Amazon Web Services.
  • 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
  • 3+ years of Agile delivery experience.
  • Strong academic background in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, information technology, or another relevant field is preferred.
  • Relevant cloud certifications in Azure, AWS, and GCP are strongly preferred.
