Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking an IAM Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Identity and Access Management solutions that align with security best practices. You will develop policies, manage onboarding/offboarding, and ensure seamless integration with IT systems.

You will collaborate with IT teams and leadership to support secure user access while working on projects of varying sizes and complexity.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree is preferred, but 4 years of relevant experience in the Information Technology field can be considered instead
• At least 2 years experience in Identity & Access Management and two years in a system administrator or application analyst role
• Demonstrated capability and understanding in user access management and governance; mentoring others on Active Directory and IAM tools
• Demonstrated success using analytical tools for workflows, system configuration and IAM documentation
• Demonstrated success designing and administering Identity Management and Access
• Demonstrated success leading large scale projects and processes

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain IAM solutions aligned with business needs and security best practices
• Develop IAM policies and procedures; manage onboarding, offboarding, and transfers
• Collaborate with IT teams, operational departments, and leadership to support secure user access
• Work independently and in teams on projects of varying sizes to ensure effective user management and robust access controls
