Apex Systems in Southlake, TX is seeking a Mid-Level Ping Identity Engineer to implement and maintain IAM solutions using PingFederate, PingAccess, and PingID, while supporting containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes. This onsite role offers a contract-to-hire path and requires strong troubleshooting and scripting skills.

Experience with SSO/federation concepts (SAML, OAuth, OIDC) and networking security is essential. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience, including hands-on security or IAM implementation.

Responsabilités

• Implement, support, and maintain IAM solutions using PingFederate, PingAccess, and PingID.
• Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and federation issues.
• Support and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Assist with Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations and federation protocols.
• Perform network trace analysis to resolve access-related issues.
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to support firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
• Monitor security events and assist in improving detection and response mechanisms.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and document solutions and procedures.
