Job summary

A technology solutions firm is seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management Developer in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will build and maintain software for Forefront Identity Manager and Microsoft Identity Manager, demonstrating a strong understanding of Microsoft technologies. This role requires solid C# development skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both onshore and offshore teams. Preferred candidates will have over 3 years of enterprise development experience, contributing to a dynamic and innovative work environment.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years of enterprise development experience.
• Strong skills in writing stored procedures and basic SQL optimization.
• Ability to work with onshore and offshore teams using remote collaboration technologies.

Job description: Seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, software developer to work on building and maintaining software for Forefront Identity Manager and Microsoft Identity Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Write software for the Identity and Access Management team.
• Demonstrate solid understanding of business processes and be able to map those to technical specifications.
• Write extensions for FIM and MIM.
• Assisting in maintaining the security and health status of Avanade’s systems by supporting the following tasks.

Skills / Knowledge

• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies.
• Strong FIM and MIM development background.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory.
• Strong skills in C# development.
• Strong skills in PowerShell preferred.
• Strong skills in SQL Server, writing stored procedures, and basic SQL optimization.
• Ability to work with teams both onshore and offshore, using remote collaboration technologies.
• Experience in full project life cycle and application development desired.
• 3 or more years of enterprise development experience.
• Familiar with Test Driven Development practices.
• Highly motivated and organized with excellent time management and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to write business and technical reports and participate in presentations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing applications.
• Industry experiences in high-tech preferred.
