Description

We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IAM solutions that ensure the security, integrity, and accessibility of our organization's digital assets. The IAM Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive strategies and solutions that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the IAM architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with security frameworks (NIST, CMMC, SOX) and organizational goals.
• Lead the design of scalable identity solutions leveraging SailPoint ISC, StrongDM, and Entra ID.
• Establish architectural standards, patterns, and best practices for identity lifecycle management, authentication, authorization, and privileged access controls.
• Evaluate and recommend enhancements or integrations to extend IAM capabilities, including support for cloud, SaaS, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Architect and oversee SailPoint ISC configurations for identity lifecycle automation, RBAC, role engineering, certification campaigns, and application onboarding.
• Design and optimize StrongDM for secure, audited, and just-in-time privileged access to servers, databases, and cloud environments.
• Configure and integrate Entra ID for SSO, MFA, conditional access, and federation with internal and external applications.
• Ensure IAM solutions integrate seamlessly with HR systems, ITSM platforms, and security monitoring tools.
• Oversee the design and execution of access review campaigns and privileged account certifications.
• Serve as the primary IAM subject matter expert for engineering and operations teams.
• Mentor IAM engineers and guide cross-functional teams in IAM best practices.
• Lead design discussions, proof-of-concepts, and solution evaluations for new IAM capabilities.
• Ability to drive their own workload and take initiative.
• Work with the Director, to execute a comprehensive IAM strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing IAM solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including identity lifecycle management, access controls, and authentication protocols.
• Experience with IAM tools and technologies, such as SailPoint and Entra ID platforms.
• Experience designing IAM architecture for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Experience with API-based integrations between IAM tools and HRIS/ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, UKG).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking with hands-on technical expertise.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Microsoft SC-300, SailPoint Certified Architect, or StrongDM Certified Engineer, are highly desirable.
