Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking an experienced IAM Architect focused on AI workloads and agent integration. You will design and implement secure identity patterns, build POCs, and partner with AI engineering to safeguard runtimes, tools, and human-in-the-loop access.

Responsibilities include defining OAuth/OIDC flows, governance alignment, and scalable identity solutions across gateways and agent platforms. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in IAM, security architecture, or platform engineering with IAM scope.
• 2+ years building IAM POCs and OAuth 2.0 / OIDC flows.
• 2+ years with PingOne AIC and/or Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience designing identity for APIs, microservices, and BFFs.
• Familiarity with zero trust and API gateway integrations.
• Certifications and knowledge of security patterns are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead IAM patterns for AI workloads, agent runtimes, and platform integrations.
• Design and validate OAuth/OIDC flows across providers and gateways.
• Build POCs end-to-end including token exchange and access control.
• Collaborate with AI engineering, security, and enterprise architecture teams.
• Ensure production readiness, governance, and auditability of IAM services.
