Job summary

CompHealth is recruiting for a hospital-based anesthesia position in Des Moines, IA. Schedule is 7 am–4 pm with weekday and weekend shifts and pager call, supporting a busy operating room with ~1,200 cases per month and ~150 cardiac cases.

Experience in OB anesthesia and ENT and pediatrics (2+) is preferred. The role offers weekly housing/travel assistance and comprehensive malpractice coverage, with streamlined credentialing and a dedicated recruiter handling all details.

Qualifications

• High-volume anesthesia environment
• Cardiac anesthesia experience is a plus
• OB anesthesia experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia in a hospital-based setting across multiple surgical services
• Cover 7 am - 4 pm with weekday and weekend shifts and pager call
• Support orthopedic, neuro, gastro, vascular, spinal, and thoracic cases as needed
