Job summary

CompHealth is seeking an experienced anesthesiologist to join a hospital-based team in Des Moines, IA. You will cover ENT, pediatrics, and general anesthesia across ortho, neuro, GI, vascular, spinal, and thoracic cases, with 7 am–4 pm shifts and pager call on weekdays and weekends in a high-volume environment.

The role emphasizes cardiac cases as a plus, OB anesthesia experience preferred, and the recruiter handles credentials, housing, travel, and malpractice coverage.

Qualifications

• ENT anesthesia experience required.
• Pediatric anesthesia experience (2+ pediatrics) required.
• General anesthesia across ortho, neuro, gastro, vascular, spinal and thoracic preferred.
• OB anesthesia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for ENT, ortho, neuro, gastro, vascular, spinal and thoracic cases.
• 7 am–4 pm shifts with pager call on weekdays and weekends.
• High-volume environment with about 1,200 cases per month.
