Job summary

Matheson Tri-Gas is seeking a maintenance technician in Irving, TX to service field instruments, control computers, and electrical systems across its facilities. The role requires reading technical drawings, performing calibrations, and maintaining QA equipment such as process analyzers and gas chromatographs.

You will install and repair instrumentation, maintain calibration standards, and assist in spare parts management.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of instrument calibration and QA processes preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate and control equipment in the air separation plant.
• Install, maintain, adjust and repair instrumentation (manual, pneumatic, electric, electronic).
• Perform routine and nonroutine calibrations and adjustments.
• Maintain calibration standards and spare parts programs.
• Assist in training and development of others when needed.
• Perform maintenance on compressors, pumps, turbines, valves, motors and other plant equipment.
