Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years in instrument control, automation, and electrical maintenance in the oil & gas industry.
• Experience with medium voltage equipment up to 480 VAC.
• Ability to work in changing climate conditions and tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate instrumentation and electrical equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks on equipment including pumps and compressors.
• Work with Turbine Technicians, Automation Control Specialist, and Engineers in maintenance activities.

Skills

General pipeline knowledge

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work with a team

Working knowledge of National Electric Codes

Communication experience with cellular, satellite, Modbus and SCADA

Education

Technical Degree/Associates Degree in Instrumentation, Electronic Communications or Industrial Electronics

PLC programming – Allen Bradley, Scadapack
