Job summary

Union Agener seeks a journeyman I&E technician to execute planned tasks and react to unplanned needs in a manufacturing setting. You will calibrate equipment, update schedules, and document work orders with accuracy.

You will troubleshoot instrument and electrical systems, interface with vendors, and serve as a technical resource for maintenance. A strong safety mindset and GMP awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a journeyman level I&E technician or equivalent training.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Instrument and electrical aptitude, problem solving, attention to detail, and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge and ability to install, maintain, and repair standard industrial instruments and electrical equipment.
• Able to work on equipment up to 480V.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Team-based environment with leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Execute planned work per the weekly schedule and reactive work as needed to support manufacturing.
• PM’s and calibrations should be performed prior to scheduled due dates.
• Update the maintenance work schedule daily and provide feedback on work status; ensure accurate work orders and calibration documentation.
• Troubleshoot instrument and electrical issues and interface with vendors/contractors as needed.
• Serve as a technical resource to manufacturing areas regarding I&E maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Provide call‑in coverage for emergency breakdowns as needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment and support HSE goals.
• Keep up to date on required training and SOPs.
• Adhere to GMP quality standards.
