Danos is seeking an E&I Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and commission electrical, instrumentation, and control systems across pipeline and terminal operations. The role focuses on ensuring safe, reliable equipment performance and accurate product measurement at truck loading/offloading racks and LACT units.

Ideal candidates have at least 4+ years in E&I in industrial settings, hands-on troubleshooting, and experience with HMIs, Flow-Cal, and major instrumentation brands.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on E&I experience in pipeline or midstream operations.
• Experience as an E&I Technician or field-based role.
• Strong troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical/instrumentation systems.
• Experience commissioning electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Experience with HMIs and field instrumentation (temperature, level transmitters, Coriolis meters).

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems from 24 VDC to 480 VAC.
• Install, calibrate, test, and maintain field instrumentation (temperature/level transmitters, Coriolis meters).
• Maintain LACT units, divert valves, and related instrumentation.
• Support commissioning and startup of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot HMIs and perform programming or configuration changes.
• Identify and resolve measurement issues using Flow-Cal or similar systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, SCADA, and automation systems as applicable.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Document maintenance, calibration results, repairs in Maximo or similar system.
• Coordinate with operations to resolve equipment problems safely.

Overview

The E&I Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and commissioning electrical, instrumentation, and control systems supporting pipeline and terminal operations. This role supports safe, reliable equipment operation and accurate product measurement across truck loading/offloading racks, LACT units, tank gauging systems, and associated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems ranging from 24 VDC through 480 VAC.

• Install, calibrate, test, and maintain field instrumentation, including temperature and level transmitters, Coriolis flow meters, BS&W measurement equipment, and tank gauging systems.

• Maintain and troubleshoot LACT units, divert valves, and instrumentation supporting truck loading and offloading operations.

• Support commissioning and startup of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.

• Troubleshoot HMIs and perform programming or configuration changes as needed.

• Identify and resolve measurement issues using Flow-Cal or comparable flow measurement and data management systems.

• Support troubleshooting of PLCs, SCADA, communications, and automation systems as applicable.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce equipment downtime and maintain operational reliability.

• Document maintenance activities, calibration results, repairs, and equipment issues in Maximo or a comparable maintenance management system.

• Coordinate with operations and maintenance personnel to resolve equipment problems while following applicable safety procedures and electrical work practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) experience, preferably in pipeline, midstream, oil & gas, or similar industrial operations.
• Demonstrated experience as an E&I Technician or comparable field-based role.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair experience with electrical and instrumentation systems in an operating facility.
• Experience commissioning electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and/or programming HMIs.
  • Hands-on experience with field instrumentation, including:
  • Temperature and level transmitters
  • Coriolis flow meters
  • BS&W measurement equipment
  • Tank gauging and measurement systems
  • LACT units and divert valves
• Working knowledge of electrical systems ranging from 24 VDC through 480 VAC.
• Experience with Emerson/Rosemount and Endress+Hauser instrumentation or comparable equipment.
• Experience supporting truck loading/offloading racks, LACT systems, and associated instrumentation.
• Experience with Flow-Cal or a comparable flow measurement/data management system.
• Proven ability to independently troubleshoot instrumentation, electrical, and measurement issues in an active pipeline or terminal environment.
• Must meet conditional job offer requirements.
