Kelly Engineering is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to support a leading client in the Chemical Manufacturing industry at the Orange, TX plant. The role requires 3–5 years of industrial I&E experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work with PLCs, process instrumentation, and control systems.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, with overtime and call-outs as needed to maintain plant operations.

Responsabilidades

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical distribution systems, motors, control panels, PLCs, transmitters, and control valves.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime.
• Calibrate, test, and maintain process instrumentation and control systems.
• Support maintenance and reliability initiatives while following safety standards and procedures.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure safe plant performance.
• Assist with equipment startups, shutdowns, and turnarounds as needed.

Kelly Engineering is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician to join one of our leading clients in the Chemical Manufacturing industry supporting their maintenance team at their Orange, TX plant.

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 3-5 years of industrial electrical and instrumentation (I&E) experience
• Strong electrical background with experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems in an industrial environment.
• Candidates with chemical manufacturing experience and analyzer maintenance experience are highly preferred.

Shift

• Monday through Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts.
• While the standard schedule offers a consistent workweek, candidates should be available for overtime and call-outs as needed to support plant operations and maintenance activities.

Compensation

$38.00 - $50.00/hour (Depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and instrumentation equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a chemical manufacturing or process manufacturing environment.
• Experience maintaining or troubleshooting process analyzers (gas analyzers, pH analyzers, conductivity analyzers, moisture analyzers, etc.).
• Analyzer training or certifications are a strong plus.
• Experience with PLCs, DCS systems, and process control instrumentation.
• Electrical license, journeyman certification, or equivalent industrial training is a plus.
