Murphy’s US Onshore is seeking a Maintenance Tech, Testing to maintain, troubleshoot and test electrical, instrumentation and pneumatic systems at well pads in the Texas area near Jourdanton. The role emphasizes safe, cost-effective work under approved procedures and regulatory requirements to support reliable production and protective functions.

Formación

• At least 5 years of instrumentation, electrical and safety-system maintenance/testing in oil and gas.
• Education or direct experience with production equipment, electrical systems and pneumatic diagrams.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills; able to work with field and Houston personnel.

Responsabilidades

• Install, diagnose faults and repair electrical wiring, circuits and safety devices; repair control systems.
• Maintain motors, MCCs, VFDs, and associated power-handling circuits; service tank-gauging equipment.
• Read schematics and pneumatic diagrams; use meters and test equipment to verify repairs.
• Inspect and service pneumatic controls, regulators, valves and safety devices; follow lockout/tagout procedures.
