Job summary

Slater Infrastructure Group in the southeastern region is seeking a Sr I&C Technician to join our team. You will help ensure instrumentation and control systems operate reliably to support uninterrupted service for water and wastewater facilities.

The ideal candidate brings at least 1 year of instrumentation experience in water/wastewater, a valid Low Voltage License, and strong knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Low Voltage License.
• At least 1 year of instrumentation experience in water/wastewater.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation and schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, maintain and repair control systems and instrumentation.
• Calibrate instrumentation to ensure precision and reliability.
• Calibrate low-pressure flow meters and other plant meters.
• Verify pH and other sensors and system controls.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Perform preventive maintenance on control systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to improve system efficiencies.
• Document processes and maintain records for compliance and analysis.
• Help the team with river checks and other duties as assigned.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in instrumentation and control systems.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements
