Job summary

M3 Engineering & Technology Corp. is seeking a capable engineer to support drafting, design development, and specification edits for projects in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

You will contribute to I&C design, estimate materials, and coordinate across departments. The role requires at least 2 years of related experience, proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit, familiarity with electrical design and networks, and a passport for domestic and international travel.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years’ related experience is required.
• Experience with electrical conceptual designs, methods and materials specifications
• Experience in communication networks design, implementation, troubleshooting and optimization
• Working knowledge and experience using MS Office, AutoCAD and 3D modeling software such as Inventor, Plant 3D and or Revit
• Must be able to travel, domestically & internationally, to other M3 offices and project sites to provide field support for new and ongoing projects.
• Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a self-starter, detail-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills.
• Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision.
• A valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of I&C plans and drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Assist in the research, planning and design of projects for clients under the supervision of an engineer.
• Apply knowledge of design, construction procedures, and building codes to design and production work.
• Prepare or assist in preparing material quantity estimates.
• Coordinate with other departments as needed.
