Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in instrumentation/electronics/electrical technology/nuclear technology/automation preferred; equivalent military or technical training may also be considered.
• 2+ years of experience preferred in industrial maintenance, instrumentation, electrical systems, controls, automation, or related environments.
• Experience with electrical systems, automation equipment, instrumentation, or industrial controls preferred.
• Ability to obtain required facility access authorization and successfully complete training and qualification programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance activities per safety, quality, security, cybersecurity, and operational requirements.
• Inspect, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and install instrumentation and control systems.
• Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergent maintenance on critical I&C equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, pneumatic, digital, and process control systems.
• Calibrate, test, and verify operation of instrumentation and transmitters, valves, and sensors.
• Install, terminate, inspect, and test instrument wiring, tubing, fittings and components.
• Support commissioning, startup testing, system upgrades, and reliability initiatives.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, electrical schematics, and manuals.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and QA; maintain documentation.
