Leidos, is seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Mechanical Engineer / Metrology Engineer to support the development of a Thermal Protection System (TPS) as part of the nation's leading Hypersonic Production Program. This program is conducted within the Leidos Defense Systems Advanced Materials Department. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos provides responsive, cost‑effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with GOM/Zeiss optical scanning systems and a strong background in blue light scanning, photogrammetry, and digital assembly creation. This role requires expertise in GD&T, manufacturing processes, and the ability to develop and implement inspection workflows and integration processes for complex mechanical assemblies.
Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
