Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient in CAD software, SolidWorks preferred.
• Hands-on experience in a lab, shop, or student group.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong collaboration skills and a drive to produce quality work.
• Fundamental understanding of mechanical engineering principles (statics, materials, thermo/fluids).
• Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Design subsystems and parts for hypersonic flight vehicles.
• Create drawings for manufacturing release.
• Design and manufacture components and subsystems.
• Own vehicle subsystems and perform analysis of components.
• Collaborate across disciplines to optimize flight systems.
• Maintain development of other subsystems.
