Job summary

Insight Global is hiring a Network Engineer to join the Deployment & Integration team for large‑scale AI datacenter buildouts. The role is hands‑on and field‑execution focused on turning up, validating, and scaling hyperscale network infrastructure.

You will deploy datacenter fabrics at scale, configure switches, validate physical connectivity, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure production readiness and smooth handovers to operations.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of network engineering experience in hyperscale datacenter environments.
• Strong understanding of modern datacenter fabrics (EVPN/VXLAN, BGP, CLOS).
• Hands‑on experience configuring production network infrastructure and troubleshooting across physical and logical layers.

Responsibilities

• Deployment Execution: deploy and validate datacenter network infrastructure including front‑end and back‑end fabrics and management networks.
• Physical Layer Validation: validate insertion loss, perform OTDR tests, troubleshoot optical issues and maintain accurate as‑builts.
• Hardware Lifecycle Management: oversee staging, rack/stack, RMAs and inventory for hyperscale deployments.
• Cross‑Functional Coordination: partner with DC Operations, ICT, Hardware Engineering and Network Engineering to meet milestones.
• Documentation & Process Improvement: contribute to deployment playbooks and SOPs.
• Operational Support: provide backup support during deployments, incident response and break/fix across layers.
