Job summary

RestorixHealth is seeking a Full Time HBO Technician / EMT Certified to provide Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to referred patients. Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating/maintaining the hyperbaric chamber, and documenting care in the EMR.

EMT certification and BLS/CPR are required, with training provided for the HBO role. The position emphasizes patient service, adherence to safety policies, and potential travel to local centers for coverage or training.

Qualifications

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.
• EMT-B, EMT-I, EMT-CC, EMT-P, RN or LVN/LPN certification in the state of work; other advanced medical certifications will be considered.
• CHT certification preferred.
• Prior wound care experience preferred (will train).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Prior experience with an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system preferred.
• Must be physically able to perform CPR.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients referred for treatment.
• Provide therapy and hyperbaric chamber operations and maintenance/cleaning as required.
• Document all care provided accurately and completely according to hospital and department policy.
• HIPAA compliance – follow privacy and confidentiality policies.
• Travel to other local centers for coverage, training, etc. when required.
