Job summary

Aurora Medical Center Sheboygan County is seeking a part-time Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care physician to join a growing program close to Milwaukee and Chicago. The team delivers thousands of HBOT treatments yearly and uses Epic with AI-assisted notes for efficient charting.

The role offers M-F hours with APP support, and relocation/sign-on incentives are available in a nationally recognized organization.

Qualifications

• Board certification in the primary specialty; HB medicine preferred.
• 40-hour HB Medicine training or ACGME HB fellowship required.
• Experience in hyperbaric and wound care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• In inpatient/outpatient hyperbaric medicine and wound care, usually M-F 8:00–4:30.
• Collaborate with a robust specialty team and APP support.

Aurora Medical Center Sheboygan County has immediate needs for a part-time Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care Physician. You'll have the opportunity to be part of an expanding program that is close to both Milwaukee and Chicago. Aurora Health Care Centers for Comprehensive Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care deliver approximately 10,000 hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatments each year-more than any other health care provider in Wisconsin. Advocate Health is also home to one of the first Hyperbaric Medicine programs in the nation, as well as one of the largest hyperbaric chambers in the US! Highlights

• Inpatient/Outpatient Hyperbaric Medicine & Wound Care with M-F work pattern, usually 8-4:30pm

• Robust specialty team of Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care physicians

• Advance Practice Provider support

• 20 hours per pay period, with opportunities to pick up extra shifts at nearby sites in Wisconsin and Illinois

• Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line

• Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature

• Experience a diverse and inclusive environment ensuring safe and equitable care for all patients

Training and/or Experience Required

• Board Certification in Primary specialty, Preferred Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine Board certification

• 40-hour Primary Training in Hyperbaric Medicine certification or completion of UHM fellowship from an ACGME accredited program required
