Job summary

Mid County Dental Associates in Largo, FL is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our patient‑centered team. As the first point of contact, you’ll screen patients, educate on oral health, and assist the Dentist with care delivery.

Responsibilities include maintaining sterilization standards, charting conditions, and staying current with dentistry developments to ensure high quality patient care. A valid dental hygiene license is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Dental Hygiene and a valid license to practice.
• Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
• Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment.

• Educating patients on proper teeth and gum care and oral health importance.

As the initial point of contact for patients at our dental clinic, our Dental Hygienist plays a pivotal role in ensuring a positive and informative experience. This position involves comprehensive patient screening, providing essential education with the impact on oral health, and offering compassionate care throughout and following treatment. This role is integral to maintaining high standards of patient care and contributing to the overall success of our dental practice.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
