Job summary

University Dental Associates (UDA) is seeking a motivated dental hygienist to support patient care and education. You will perform licensed hygiene procedures, educate patients on treatment options, and collaborate with the administrative team to schedule appointments.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice dental hygiene.

• Ability to perform hygiene procedures including prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, sealants, and fluoride.

What Does a Hygienist at UDA Look Like?

We want a passionate, driven, and excited individual who can make a stellar hygienist at UDA. You will help shape oral health care delivery and exceed expectations daily. In your role, you will support the office and patients by performing licensed hygiene procedures, consistently educating our patients on treatment and care, building lasting relationships, maintaining accurate and thorough patient records, and partnering with the administrative team on scheduling appointments.

What Skills and Experience Does a Successful UDA Hygienist Have?

• Current state license to practice dental hygiene
• Confidence and ability to educate patients on their unique oral health needs and desires
• Strong communication skills
• A desire to embrace preventive‑centered care
• Ability to perform all hygiene clinical procedures, including adult and child prophylaxis, non‑surgical periodontal therapy, sealants, and fluoride

Hygienists are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control trainings as required by law.
