Overview

Dr. Curtis Roy & Associates is now hiring a Full Time Hygiene Assistant in Lafayette, LA!

We are seeking an experienced Hygiene Assistant to join our community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business and operations professionals

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 7:45 am - 5:00 pm

Wednesday 7:45 am - 4:00 pm

Friday 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

Responsibilities
  • Recording data and Requesting records
  • Sterilization
  • Presenting hygiene treatments
  • Patient check in/out
  • Answers incoming calls to include new patients
  • Appointment scheduling
  • Patient follow ups
  • Manage unscheduled and treatment pending lists to ensure patient follow through to meet scheduling goals
Qualifications
  • 3 + years of experience in a dental front office is a must. Experience with dental insurance confirmation a plus.
  • Dentrix knowledge preferred
  • Email proficient and ability to use technology such as patient texting apps and basic computer literacy.
  • Active listening and communication skills, multi-tasking and the ability to work through scheduling challenges.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with doctors, practice team members and business support staff
  • Technical inclination
