Job summary

Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our Jacksonville practice. You will work closely with the dental hygienist to prepare treatment rooms, assist with procedures, take x-rays, and educate patients on oral hygiene.

Responsibilities include maintaining sterilization protocols, managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and performing basic administrative tasks to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification as a Dental Assistant is a plus.
• X-ray certification may be required based on state requirements.
• Proven experience as a Dental Hygiene Assistant or Dental Assistant is preferred.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively with dental professionals.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a sterile environment.
