Job summary

Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking a dedicated and motivated Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our practice. You will work closely with the dental hygienist to provide exceptional patient care and support a smooth hygiene workflow.

Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, assisting with procedures, taking x-rays, maintaining sterilization, educating patients on oral hygiene, and handling records and scheduling to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of proven experience as a Dental Hygiene Assistant or Dental Assistant.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification as a Dental Assistant is a plus
• X-ray certification may be required based on state requirements
• Knowledge of dental instruments and procedures
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively with dental professionals
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a sterile environment
