Welo Data is seeking native-level Spanish (Peru) contributors with professional voice recording experience to join the Hydrus Project as freelance, remote talent. You will submit two audition recordings and, if selected, participate in two supervised recording sessions using your own studio.

Applicants must have a dedicated professional microphone and a quiet home setup, able to record WAV 24-bit 48kHz. The pay rate is $35/hour for approximately 8 total hours across sessions.

• Professional voice recording experience or voice acting background.
• Ability to maintain a natural, friendly customer-service tone.

Responsabilités

• Submit two audition recordings (one natural ~30s, one scripted ~30s).

About the Role:

We are seeking native-level Spanish (Peru) contributors with professional voice recording experience, including voice actors, dubbing artists, podcasters, and radio or broadcast hosts, to join the Hydrus Project.

This means submitting a short audition, and if selected, completing two supervised recording sessions using your own professional microphone and a quiet space.

Important Note: Candidates must have a professional microphone device , meaning a separate, dedicated microphone used specifically for recording or streaming.

Examples of acceptable devices include (but are not limited to):

• RODE: NT-USB Mini, PodMic USB, Wireless GO/Pro
• Blue: Yeti, Yeti Orb, Bluebird, Baby Bottle
• Other professional recording microphones of similar quality are also acceptable.

Not Acceptable:

Built-in laptop microphones, AirPods, Samsung Buds, headsets, and gaming headsets are not acceptable.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit two audition recordings: one natural, unscripted sample (~30 seconds) and one scripted customer-service sample (~30 seconds)
• If selected, complete two supervised recording sessions of approximately 4 hours each
• Participate in natural conversation, prompted discussions, and scripted customer-service scenarios during sessions
