Job summary

Phillips Infrastructure is looking for a Hydrovac Truck Driver in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will operate hydrovac trucks to safely excavate soil while adhering to strict safety protocols. The position demands communication skills for coordinating tasks with crew members and understanding underground utility safety. A high school diploma is preferred along with at least 2 years of relevant experience. A CDL is necessary, and additional safety certifications are beneficial. Candidates must also complete a pre-employment physical examination.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating hydrovac trucks or similar heavy equipment in a construction or utility environment.
• Strong understanding of underground utility safety practices and excavation procedures.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydrovac trucks and associated equipment to perform non-destructive excavation safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections of hydrovac equipment.
• Safely locate and expose underground utilities.
