Job summary

Badger Daylighting Corp. in the United States is seeking a Hydrovac Operator to perform high‑pressure hydrovac digging and utility uncovering on construction sites.

You will operate hydrovac equipment and trucks, participate in safety meetings, and ensure accurate documentation of all work and regulatory paperwork. The role requires a valid CDL, readiness to travel up to 25%, and physical ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required (Class A or B).
• CPR/First Aid, Fall Protection and OSHA 10 certifications preferred.
• Experience driving manual transmissions (10-18 speeds) preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old and able to travel up to 25%.
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs and perform manual labor.
• Prior hydrovac or related industrial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydrovac equipment and perform hydrovac duties in varied environments.
• Drive hydrovac trucks 10–15% of total work time.
• Attend safety meetings and perform routine equipment inspections.
• Prepare work areas with proper safety measures and address hazards.
• Document and report all paperwork accurately, including union, client, and regulatory records.
