Job summary

DynaGrid Construction Group, LLC, headquartered in the Dallas Metroplex, is seeking a Hydrovac Operator to safely operate our hydro-vacuum system and support sitework and foundation projects for substations and transmission lines.

The role runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, with up to 55 hours per week. Must have a Class B license with tanker endorsement and be 25+. Competitive wage of $28.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Hydrovac/trucking experience preferred.
• Must have a Class B license with tanker endorsement and a clean driving record.
• Safety certifications preferred (First Aid/CPR, Fall Protection).
• Experience in outdoor labor-intensive roles in all weather.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the on-board hydro-vacuum system.
• Available Monday-Friday 7 am to 5:30 pm (up to 55 hours/week).
• Communicate effectively with customers and maintain a strong service focus.
• Lead and direct personnel to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Attend safety meetings and ensure tasks are completed safely.
• Record time and attendance using hh2.
• Document all required paperwork clearly and accurately.

The Hydrovac Operator is responsible for safely operating our specialized on-board hydro-vacuum system.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the on-board hydro-vacuum system outside the truck and perform other duties such as clean-up, mobilization, and general maintenance of the equipment.
• Available Monday-Friday 7 am to 5:30 pm (up to 55 hours per week)
• Always communicate effectively and professionally and to demonstrate a strong customer service focus in all interactions.
• Lead and direct personnel to perform duties/tasks in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and as the need arises perform minor repairs to equipment.
• Attend safety meetings and ensures all tasks are always completed in a safe and professional manner.
• Use Company provided technology such as hh2 for time and attendance input and tracking
• Properly document all Company, Federal, and Customer paperwork as required by law and/or established policy in a clear and legible manner.

Experience, Qualifications & Education

• Previous hydrovac, trucking, vacuum truck or other related industrial experience preferred.
• Must have a minimum Class B driver’s license with tanker endorsement, with an acceptable driving record.
• Safety certifications preferred (e.g. First Aid/CPR, Fall Protection, Confined Space).
• Experience in a labor-intensive position and working outside in all types of weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently in a team and safety focused environment.
• Mechanical inclination is an asset.
• Must be 25 yrs or older

Physical Demands Requirements

• Must be able to hear and distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on duty.
• Must be able to repetitively sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach and crawl.
• Must be able to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in all outdoor elements for extended periods of time.
• Must be cleared to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Must be able to climb ladders, and work from stationary platforms from elevated heights.
• Must be capable of working extended hours and variable shifts.

Wage: $ 28.00 + hr. (depending on experience)
