Job summary

Pro-Vac is seeking a Hydrovac Truck Operator to join our field team. You will travel to diverse sites, operate vacuum and pump trucks, and provide top-tier customer service while supporting our environmental services.

In-house training and benefits accompany a strong employee-centric culture. The role requires a valid Class A or B CDL with Tanker and Air Brake endorsements, willingness to travel, and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

Qualifications

• Licensed Class A or Class B CDL Driver with Tanker and Air Brake Endorsements.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
• Positive and motivated self-starter.
• Experienced Hydrovac Truck Operator seeking career growth.
• Able to pass drug, MVR and background screenings.
• Able to lift 80 lbs and perform daily physical activity.

Responsibilities

• Travel frequently to different sites as part of duties.
• Drive and operate Hydrovac equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area at job sites and trucks.
• Assist with housekeeping and inventory of tools and PPE.
• Provide professional customer relations and service during assignments.

What you'll LOVEdoing...

• Practicing proper housekeeping by keeping job sites & trucks clean, putting tools away, and ensuring an organized workspace.

PHYSICAL & WORKING CONDITIONS

• Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs; frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and working at heights
• Standing and moving for extended periods; operating vehicles across varied terrain
• Perceiving auditory safety signals, verbal warnings, and radio communications in active field environments
• Wearing all required PPE including OSHA-compliant respirators, hearing protection, eye protection, gloves, and safety footwear
• Reading site documentation and accurately operating equipment controls
• Working outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and wet conditions
• Maintaining situational awareness around active traffic, heavy machinery, and underground utilities
• Working in confined spaces per applicable safety protocols
