GetHired, Inc. is seeking an experienced Hydrovac Operator to join our field team in Carroll, OH. The role focuses on safely operating hydrovac trucks to expose underground utilities on active construction sites, using vacuum and high-pressure water systems.

You will perform soft excavation, conduct equipment inspections, and collaborate with crews to ensure safe, efficient completion of projects while complying with OSHA and company safety policies.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment, specifically hydrovac or vacuum excavation trucks.
• Experience with Vac Truck operation and maintenance required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with ability to perform basic repairs and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydrovac trucks and related heavy equipment safely and efficiently.

• Ensure all digging operations are performed safely to avoid utility strikes or damage.

• Collaborate with crews, operators, and supervisors to complete excavation projects.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Hydrovac Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating hydrovac trucks to safely excavate and expose underground utilities. This role requires strong heavy equipment operating experience, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safe excavation practices on active construction sites.

The Hydrovac Operator plays a critical role in preventing utility damage while efficiently completing excavation work using vacuum and high-pressure water systems.

• Perform soft excavation using high-pressure water and vacuum systems to expose underground utilities

Experience

• Hydrovac / Vacuum Excavation: 2 years preferred
