• Ability to read engineering prints and determine pressure for testing.
• Willingness to cross-train in other departments.
• Ability to lift 51 lbs or more with a partner.

Responsibilities

• Verify work orders match task performed.
• Inspect valve bodies, machinery and tools for quality.
• Perform hydrostatic testing using Barbee machines (1" and 2" valves).
• Observe for leaks, problems or safety concerns during testing.
• Mark valve bodies using metal stamps as required by Engineering Prints.
• Maintain documentation and logs.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Follow safety policies for Hydro Associate employees.
• Assist Weld Department with sand blasting as needed.
• Support other departments and duties as production requires.
