Friends of Switchpoint seeks a Garden Specialist to oversee all garden operations and lead hydroponic growers and volunteers. You will set growing standards, manage harvesting schedules, and monitor supplies and water quality, contributing to the organization’s mission to address poverty through sustainable farming.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience on a hydroponic farm.
• Knowledge of botany and soil-less growing.
• Excellent people skills and ability to lead a large team.
• Strong planning, budgeting, and reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all operations of the garden.
• Training and managing hydroponic growers and volunteers.
• Set standards for growing, schedules, and nutrient intake.
• Prepare for harvesting times and maintain equipment.
