The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality seeks an experienced Hydrologist to support the Rio Grande Watermaster Program, monitor streamflow and reservoir levels, and manage water rights in the Rio Grande basin.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Hydrologist III
A bachelor’s degree in hydrology, engineering, geology, mathematics, or natural or physical science from an accredited college or university, plusfour yearsof full-time experience performing hydrologic work of similar character, scope, and complexity in the areas listed in examples of work performed.
OR
A master’s degree in hydrology, engineering, geology, mathematics, or a natural or physical science from an accredited college or university, plusthree yearsof the full-time experience.
OR
A doctorate in hydrology, engineering, geology, mathematics, or a natural or physical science from an accredited college or university, plustwo yearsof the full-time experience.
Hydrologist IV
A bachelor’s degree in hydrology, engineering, geology, mathematics, or natural or physical science from an accredited college or university,plus six yearsof full-time experience performing hydrologic work of similar character, scope, and complexity in the areas listed in examples of work performed.
OR
A master’s degree in hydrology, engineering, geology, mathematics, or a natural or physical science from an accredited college or university,plus five yearsof the full-time experience.
OR
A doctorate in hydrology, engineering, geology, mathematics, or a natural or physical science from an accredited college or university,plus four yearsof the fulltime experience.
