Job summary

Nippon Sanso MATHESON is seeking an entry-level HyCO Plant Relief Operator in Lemont, IL to learn the hydrogen plant operations and support shift vacations. Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a related discipline or equivalent training.
• Preferred 1–3 years in an industrial ops/maintenance environment.
• Basic algebra, fractions/percentages, unit conversion knowledge.
• Proficiency with standard office software for daily reporting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain steam methane reformer process and related equipment.
• Perform rounds, logs, water sampling, transfers, and housekeeping.
• Follow safety policies and report incidents promptly.
• Interpret P&ID drawings to support operations and troubleshooting.
• Support start/stop of plants safely as conditions require.
• Participate in regular and shutdown maintenance activities.
