Job summary

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking an Industrial Services General Laborer/Hydro Blaster to join a safety-focused traveling team based in Laporte, TX. The job supports Technical, Field and Industrial Services with physical, demanding work.

Expect up to 75% local travel and 25% regional travel. TWIC is required or must be obtainable; prior industrial services experience is preferred and respirator use is required.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial services experience preferred.
• Ability to perform manual labor (heavy lifting, confined space entry, working at heights).
• Ability to wear a respirator.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• TWIC card required or must be able to obtain.
• Some traveling is required.
• Availability to work variable shifts including day, nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wear protective clothing and equipment including Nomex coveralls, belt, slicker suit, rubber boots, breathing mask and hard hat.
• Work under extreme climate conditions (high heat index, humidity, cold).
• Withstand exposure to dust, chemicals, fumes, exhaust and pressurized fluids.

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors is looking for Industrial Services General Laborers/Hydro blasters to join their safety conscious traveling team! This opportunity is based out of Laporte, TX area. This team member will provide intercompany regional support across various lines of business including Technical, Field and Industrial Services. The responsibilities of this role will include confined space entry, working at heights and working alongside various types of equipment. This is a physically intensive position that may require 75% travel locally and 25% travel regionally. TWIC is required or must be able to obtain. Experience in industrial services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to wear protective clothing or equipment. This includes, but is not limited to Nomex coveralls, a black belt, slicker suits, rubber boots, a fresh air breathing mask and escape pack and a hard hat.
• Must be able to work under extreme climate conditions (excessive high heat index of 95+ degrees Fahrenheit, 98% humidity and subzero weather conditions) relative to geographic location.
• Must be able to withstand exposure to dust, chemical and environmental, fumes (chemical and fluids), exhaust and highly pressurized fluids.
