Job summary

EnviroVac is seeking a Crew Leader to supervise an industrial cleaning crew, set up hydroblasting equipment, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and manage project paperwork for billing, payroll, and safety data.

The role requires coordinating multiple crew members, equipment, and subcontractors, with a focus on safety and efficiency on client sites in Sumter, SC. Diplo­matic communication and strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of industrial cleaning or related experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; effective interpersonal communication across levels.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
• Ability to understand and follow specific procedures and directions, with an unwillingness to cut corners.
• Must be able to measure qualitative and quantitative work completed by employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, coordination, and continuity to assigned crew and communicate with dispatch, supervisor, or account manager.
• Perform Hazard Recognition Awareness to remove hazards from the workplace.
• Supervise the assigned personnel, equipment, material and subcontractors for the work.
• Ensure work is planned and coordinated according to work plan, quality, budget and safety objectives including setup and decontamination.
• Maintain the project site in a safe and environmentally sound condition per DOT, EPA and OSHA requirements.
• Supervise EnviroVac personnel and subcontractors and communicate employee performance to supervisor.
• Ensure equipment is received and maintained in good condition and report deficiencies.
• Report unsafe conditions and follow company regulations and procedures.
• Carry out all company policies and monitor morale to maintain a positive attitude.
• Maintain knowledge of current applicable regulations and safety requirements.
• Perform physical labor as needed based on client requirements and as directed.
