Job summary

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Hydro Blaster/Field Technician to safely perform hydro-blasting and related operations across service lines. This role requires hands-on operation of hydro-blasting equipment and adherence to safety policies on job sites.

Responsibilities include equipment operation, routine maintenance, supervising with customer teams as needed, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Vocational safety training and on-the-job experience.
• English language understood for safety training and emergency instructions.
• Valid driver’s license required per company policy.
• Knowledge of operating emergency equipment (fire extinguishers).
• Provide Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).

Responsibilities

• Act as safety representative for safety policies & procedures on site, including operations, safety, equipment, and administrative duties.
• Hands-on operation of manual and automated hydro-blasting equipment when required.
• Operate equipment such as high-pressure pumps and related tools.
• Manage equipment energizing and use of hydro-blasting/chemical cleaning gear, vacuum trucks and cutting equipment.
• Inspect cleaned surfaces for conformance to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment used on the job.
• If in a supervisory role: interface with customer representatives, ensure requirements are met, report to branch manager.
