Job summary

Ohmstede Ltd. is seeking a hydro-blaster to support our industrial cleaning operations. Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, you will unload bundles from trucks, load them onto cleaning fixtures, operate cleaning equipment, and prep bundles for shipment.

You will also perform equipment prep, housekeeping, and routine maintenance while ensuring safe work practices and quality control throughout the cleaning process.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Read and write English.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load heat exchanger equipment from trucks.
• Prepare cleaning equipment for each job.
• Maintain housekeeping of the Cleaning Shop.
• Perform minor and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Inspect finished product and prepare for shipment.
• Follow shop practices and procedures to set up and perform jobs.

Job Summary

Ohmstede Ltd. is seeking a hydro-blaster. Under the direction of the Shift Supervisor, the Hydro Blaster assists in unloading bundles off trucks. Place bundles on the cleaning fixtures and operates cleaning equipment to clean bundles. Once bundles are cleaned they are prepped for shipment and loaded on trucks for delivery.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Unload and load Heat Exchanger Equipment from trucks.
• Prepare cleaning equipment for each job.
• Maintains appropriate housekeeping of Cleaning Shop.
• Performs minor maintenance on equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance on the equipment.
• Inspects finished product
• Prepare finished product for shipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Performs assigned tasks in a safe manner, avoiding all unsafe practices.
• Performs internal quality control of cleaning procedures.
• Sets up and performs jobs based on shop practices and procedures..
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Knowledge - H.S. diploma or equivalent; or equivalent experience; knowledge of cleaning practices.
• Skills- Read and write English language.
• Working Conditions- Heat, noisy, dusty, cold, chemical exposures, pinching hazards, stand for long periods of time, some bending, stooping, push/pull, twist, squat, lift & climb, requires 50 lb. lifting ability, and exposed to normal shop hazards.
