Job summary

RPMGlobal is seeking a Hydro Vac truck operator in Glendale, Wisconsin. This role involves operating a Hydro Vac truck, ensuring safety, and supporting the crew to complete projects efficiently. A comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, and 401k is provided.

The ideal candidate must have prior vacuum truck experience, a valid CDL with tank endorsement, and must be able to work outdoors in various conditions.

Qualifications

• Prior vacuum truck or trailer unit experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand prints, maps and construction plans.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Drive trucks and equipment to job sites.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment prior to use.

Position Summary

This role is primarily responsible for running a Hydro Vac truck, working in a safe manner and assisting the entire crew to ensure projects are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Job Responsibilities

• Adhere to company policies, procedures and OSHA safety standard
• Demonstrate willingness for continuous self-improvement
• Assist Foreman in ensuring jobs are brought in on time
• Notify foreman of unanticipated field changes & suggest possible alternatives
• Document deficiencies in safety practices/equipment to foreman
• Inspect vehicles and equipment prior to and after use, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure to ensure their safe and proper operation
• Drive trucks and equipment to job sites
• Perform on call duties as required
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience/Qualifications

• Prior vacuum truck or trailer unit experience is preferred, including working knowledge of hand and various power tools
• Ability to read and understand prints, maps and construction plans
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Some out-of-town travel and occasional night work may be required
• Valid CDL (including air brakewith tanker endorsement) is required, along with a DOT medical card
• Must maintain a good driver’s record and be insurable
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift/move up to 75lbs occasionally
