Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Vacuum Truck Operator to join the Vacuum Truck Services team. You will safely operate vacuum equipment in an industrial setting while delivering high-quality service to clients on a variety of jobs, including hydro excavating, spill cleanup, and fluid handling.

Focus on safety, professionalism, and teamwork as you perform pre-trip checks, complete logs for NSC compliance, and maintain accurate documentation. Some travel and after-hours calls may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL and 2+ years vacuum/hydro-excavation experience.
• Strong safety performance in industrial settings.
• Excellent communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate vacuum equipment in an industrial setting.
• Provide exceptional service to clients and professionally represent GFL.
• Complete daily equipment pre-trips and driver logs for NSC compliance.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation to accompany work performed.
• Demonstrate a commitment to environmental compliance.
• Participate in safety programs such as safety meetings, near miss reporting and job hazard assessments.
• Work independently while managing time and productivity and communicate effectively.
