Henderson Products Inc. in Huntley, IL is seeking an Installation Technician in our hydraulics department. You will install, service, inspect, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems for heavy‑duty work trucks, reading schematics and blueprints, and performing shop math in a collaborative shop setting.

The role supports team-oriented manufacturing with safety emphasis and provides experience across welding and assembly processes while enabling professional development and skill growth.

Qualifications

• Basic shop math and ability to interpret diagrams and blueprints.
• Hand dexterity and working knowledge of hand tools.
• Team player willing to work in a team environment.
• Experience in manufacturing setting; familiarity with weld and assembly processes.
• Technical degree or specialty certifications (welding, electrical, hydraulics) helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Day Shift Hours! Monday - Friday: 5:30AM to 4:00PM

How you will contribute:

As an Installation Technician in our hydraulics department, you will play a crucial role in the hydraulics bay. Your responsibilities will include installing, servicing, inspecting, and troubleshooting hydraulic systems and components, all contributing to the completion of heavy-duty work truck builds.

The role also involves diagnostic and repair work. You will need to read schematics, diagrams, blueprints, perform shop math, and ensure accurate installations and repairs. Knowledge of wiring and electrical systems is a plus.

What this role needs (preferred):

• Basic shop math & ability to interpret work instructions, diagrams & blueprints
• Hand dexterity and working knowledge of hand tools
• Must be willing to work in a team environment
• Previous experience in manufacturing settingFamiliarity with weld, assembly processes
• Technical degree helpful and/or specialty certifications (i.e., welding, electrical, hydraulics), not required

Working conditions:

• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
• Bending, lifting, and standing
• Exposure to noise and weld and grinding smoke at times
